Texas’ Next Top Designer, Inc. is a non-profit organization committed to nurturing diverse entrepreneurs by supporting business development for the fashion and aligned industries.
Texas’ Next Top Designer, Inc. hosts the “Search for Texas’ Next Top Designer” competition which is conducted as a selection process for grant recipients. Texas’ Next Top Designer, Inc. occasionally host seminars and workshops that are created to address specific professional needs discovered throughout the grant selection process. We actively pursue partnership opportunities with local colleges, professional organizations, other industry groups, and non-profits to support our goal of providing meaningful resources for all past and future grant applicants.
Grant applications are accepted once per year. The current application will be posted with instructions and deadlines following announcemnt of the next Search.
In addition, Texas’ Next Top Designer, Inc. creates and sponsors events to support local designers throughout the year. Make sure to visit the Events section to see what‘s coming next!

GIANNA MADRINI - is a style and fashion editor, fashion journalist, presenter and executive producer of Global Fashion News, a television and film production company based in New York City with production offices in Dallas, Texas. Initially studying liberal arts, Ms. Madrini did a work placement at Detour Magazine, graduating to assisting roles in editorial and went on to work for publications such as Avenue Magazine, Hamptons Magazine and Elle In New York. Her past magazine publishing work provides her with a unique insight into the world of fashion. Madrini has served as Fashion Editor of Global Fashion News for more than10 years where she directs and produces the company's fashion and design coverage for television broadcast networks. DIANE REEVES - is the President and owner of D. Reeves Productions. D. Reeves Productions is an agency that has a comprehensive background in fashion, guiding clients threw the process of launching clothing lines, producing fashion shows domestic and internationally, art directing photo shoots, promoting store openings, organizing trunk shows, and creating memorable special events. Diane has done everything from producing an event for the Country Music Awards to being a judge and consultant for BRAVO TV's "The Fashion Show". www.dreevesproductions.com
BRET MCKINNEY - is the Director of Visual Merchandising and Fashion Presentation at Stanley Korshak since 2000. Bret studied finance and music performance at the University of Tulsa. From fashion show production to photo shoots to the fantastic displays for Stanley Korshak, Bret has a love for visuals. Some of Bret's biggest fashion show fundraisers each year includes the Texas Ballet Theater's Ballet Luncheon and Fresh Faces of Fashion benefiting the Suicide Crisis Center. He is also a stylist with the Campbell Wagner Runway Agency in Dallas, Texas and does numerous freelance jobs throughout the region. His passion lies in philanthropic as serving on the Board of Directors for Texas' Next Top Designer, the Young Leadership Board for Gilda's Club North Texas and The Limelight Group Board.
JACKSON - is the Corporate Concierge for Barneys New York. Jackson welcomes celebrities and distinguished guests to the Dallas / Ft. Worth area, assisting them as they navigate their way through the cities. TERESA NGUYEN - is the Founder and President of RED iD agency, a leading advertising and public relations agency specializing in creating and refining identities for individuals and corporate clients. Her clients include visual artists, musicians and bands, authors, non-profits, small to mid-size businesses to leading corporations. Her entrepreneurial spirit combined with her love for philanthropy lead her to co-Found the Janan Collection with her sister Ty, employing and empowering widowed Iraqi women to create art to provide for their children. Nguyen recent recognitions include the CBS KRLD "Community Hero" award as well as profiled in the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram's list of "individuals making a difference in their field."

KASIA BENSON - is in-house Corporate Counsel for Essilor, a worldwide leading manufacturer of ophthalmic lenses. She is also the founder of Wardrobe Peace, which provides consulting services to busy professionals while facilitating the donation of clothing to low-income job seekers in the community. Kasia is the author of "Fashion Fridays," a column which appeared regularly in the Texas Lawyer and on Law.com.

MAXINE TROWBRIDGE - is the Founder and CEO of PinkMemo.com. British born and American by choice, entrepreneur Maxine Trowbridge refers to herself as a Britican. A dedicated Fashionista at an early age, and inspired by designers such as Vivienne Westwood, Thierry Mugler, and Rifat Ozbek, Max absorbed the fashion industry as her mantra. After stylish studies at the London College of Fashion, Max began designing for an established British luxury fashion house - Mansfield, a collection coveted by Princess Diana. Max moved to Dallas with her husband Ben in 2003 and collaborated her passion for the Internet, marketing and fashion, and created the concept for PinkMemo.com. Max supports the SPCA, and is an avid supporter of the local art community as a Board Member for the Dallas Contemporary and Texas Next Top Designer.
